The work of «René Descartes» was created within the framework of the big collective exhibition in MMOMA 2007 under the name: «Baroque: symptoms of big style». The choice of the theme for the exhibition was determined, according to the memories of Natalia Tournova, who spread on the Moscow artistic scene by the passion for the ideas of the Baroque, set out in the book by Gilles Delez Folding.
