A German landscape painter and university teacher, born in Koenigsberg. He was originally a painter at a geodesic bureau in Koenigsberg. From 1919 to 1924 he was a pupil of Arthur Degner at the Königsberg Art Academy. After 1924-1930, Max Lind worked as an art teacher for four years. In 1934 he entered the Academy of Fine Arts, where he was appointed professor in 1937.
