The work was written during the master’s stay in Fergana (Uzbek SSR), on the distribution of the Art Institute. V.I. Surikov. A young artist on a creative assignment missed his family very much, and one day he found a pencil sketch of his sleeping son in his papers. So one of the best paintings of the master "Deniskin Dream" was created.
